In the last chapter Roberto confessed to me that he had hired an AI “Art Therapist” to help me out my depression. My new friend Frances had been a robot this whole time, and her prototype was based on a real artist named Diane Van Der Berghe.
Author’s Note: You may have noticed a dramatic change in the artwork this week. Dall-E did not take a giant leap forward, rather I have trained myself to use another AI program called Midjourney. I am still learning the finer points of the software but already I am finding it easier to replicate characters. You also may have noticed that the characters look extremely young and attractive. This is a program flaw which I will discuss next week in my Bloopers newsletter. As always, thanks for reading!
